2015.03.06 Arroyo High School's Sadie Hawkins Dance!

I had an amazing time DJing for Arroyo High School's Sadie Hawkins dance! The theme for this year's Sadie Hawkins was outer space so they emphasized the blacklights, glow sticks, and neon colors. Since the event took place at their gym, I knew that it needed some great production to make it a really fun and cool experience for the students. I put the school in contact with a production company called Elite Stage and Lighting and they produced amazing results. To be brief, they've provided 4 QSC subwoofers, 2 QSC tops, 4 black trussing around the gym with 4 moving heads on top and blacklights to cover the whole gym. Since they have provided the groundwork of sound and lighting, I was able to have more focus and energy to do what I do best, DJ. As a special gift, I also provided light-up party sticks as a party favor to the students. There were a great addition to their event since it matched their theme, and everyone wanted one! The students were dancing the night away with my mix of Top 40, EDM, Hip Hop, and Latin club style of music. I was also able to get a selfie pic with the students when I played Chainsmokers's "Selfie" song. At the end, everyone had a great time and was told by the assistant principal that they will contact me again for future dances. I also received a 5-star review on EventWire and great comments from the students on my Instagram account. I look forward to DJ their school dances in the future.
